A meeting of the P.R.G. was held at the surgery to review the results of the recent patient survey.
100 patients of The Family Surgery (representing all ages and backgrounds), were surveyed to see if improvements could be made to the existing service.
73% of those surveyed expressed the view that they were generally happy with the services provided at the surgery. 11% commented on the phone system, 11% on Car Parking Issues, 3% on the entrance doorway. 1% suggested in-house pharmacy facilities and 1% an electronic booking in service.

Patient Reference Group Established

The surgery has established a Patient Participation reference group to find out what improvements could be made to our services.The group will meet to discuss the most beneficial service changes and to prioritise the implementation of those changes. Your opinions will be sought on how to best implement these changes.
An action plan will then be drawn up and the agreed change implemented.
A report will then be published detailing how the change has benefitted patient services within the surgery.
